Anti-virus upgrade offers short-changing customers

    Indeed, but all you have to do is contact support, and they add those "lost" days back to your new product. Not the smoothest way of doing it, perhaps, but the lost days aren't necessarily really lost.

    It's hardly surprising. If I decide to upgrade to F-Secure Internet Security package rather than use just the AV (even if I have 6 months left on my AV subscription) I don't expect to get 6 months extra Internet Security. However, I should be able to buy the Internet Security now but not install it until my current AV subscription ends and get a full year from the date I install it. I know this is the case with F-Secure

    AVG's comments on the matter are surprising, as I have renewed and upgraded much before the license expiry and have never lost any days on the existing license as they were always added automatically to the new license. Therefore, I am at a loss to understand what is happening here.....:doubt:
