Are you referring to the Linux based CD ? It has been discontinued.
But the PE Builder based CD is not in beta and is bundled with the 2009 products itself. (See the link to the KL support site, in my post earlier )

I heard it was due to boot-legging of the Linux based CDs. With the BART PE versions they can ensure only people with valid KL subscription can make up-to-date Rescue CDs.

Actually I don't know where you got the info from that the linux boot cd was discontinued...they never released it to discontinue it!

It's still in beta, and an updated cd was put on the FTP server just recently.

    :ouch:
When I last saw this link:
    http://dnl-eu10.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/RescueDisk/

The CD image was almost 1 month old. On asking one of my pals, he told me that Linux CD was out and to use PE builder instead.

So I am guessing KL, updates CD every-month or so. Right ?

    EDIT:
Ok, root cause found. My pal saw this site and while talking to me in a non-english lanuaguage "not currently available " was lost in transition to become "has been discontinued".
