I chose Other only beacuse I use multiple scanners (not at once, of course) as a comobo for high detection rates and a little bit of infection clarification (two detects, the other does not, what the ... ?). However, I do use Spybot S&D as my primary anti-spyware. All the others are just to assist and back it up. my combo of programs are easy, customizable (to an extent), quite, and simple :) !!

Why use spybot search and destroy as your main antispyware. It is quite a weak product in terms of detection and tis tea tiemr consuems a ltofo resources.

    I use

AdAwareSE (although I want to drop it)
    Spybot S&D
    Spywareblaster
    WinPatrol
    NOD32
    Outpost Firewall

I want to swap AdAwareSE with AVG AntiSpyware, but AVG isn't compatible with my OS

Real Time: Trend Micro Anti-Spyware, Comodo BOClean, Spyware Blaster
    On Demand: AVG Anti-Spyware

I plan on replacing Trend Micro Anti-Spyware with SuperAntiSpyware in the near future.

    AdAware
    CounterSpy
    Spybot S&D

Though I guess I need to look into SuperAntiSpyware going into 2008 due to the amount of votes it received here on Wilders.

Spyware Blaster. Why wasn't it in the poll?

I used to use Spybot also but 1.5 is a disaster and 1.4 crashed on a detection that was nothing and I reported it and it was never fixed. 1.5 crashed on it too besides other numerous problems so I had to uninistall it and I only have Spyware Blaster now. But I use Avira Premium and it covers spyware and Avira really doesn't like it if we use anything else.

I didn't include it in the original poll because I only wanted to list AS that run in real-time. Otherwise, we'd have to list HOSTS files, firefox extensions, etc. Additionally, there is a limit to the number of items you can list, and there is an Other option that can be used for these situations.

I use Sandboxie all the time when browsing the web. Now and again I check with Spybot, just to be sure but never find anything. Also sandbox Thunderbird just in case any nasties come in there.
