I run Sandboxie because I feel comfortable using it, I like what the program offers for me. I have heard some great things about Mamutu though.

I went ahead and turned on UAC to max but under Admin only account. Even though a standard user account is ideal for better security, I did not create a standard account, because I like to add system changes without the worry of them being reverted back.

I just can't do standard, it is just too limited for me. I figure even though I run admin only, at least I still have UAC on.

I am thinking about having the admin account only, with UAC on max and EXE Radar Pro and Sandboxie on for real-time. Do you think a combination of all three would cause too much conflict?

Just FYI (In case it helps): I am the only person who uses this computer.

I see no conflict in that setup

Thanks for the reply. Just wondering here, Do you keep UAC enabled on your machine?

Are you running Admin or Standard/Restricted user? I am asking, just so I know what to go with. I like to mess around with settings to get what benefits my setup. Getting an idea on what people run on theirs, will help me get a clearer idea of what I want to run.

Ok cool, because this is the setup I am currently running with UAC. I like having the freedom of tweaking and messing around with the system, so I don't like being too restricted, but I also like being notified of system changes, especially if I am not the one executing them.

Thanks for answering my question, you have been of great help.

Oh ok. I thought I seen you mention it. So you must be waiting on EXE Radar Pro x64 right or are you planning on using Faronics Anti-Executable?

Yes, I have been waiting for it...It is a nice program. I tested out the 32-bit before, and liked it so much...I purchased a license. The dev said the 64-bit will more than likely be release sometime this month.

I guess that is where the title can kind of through you off a bit, since Faronics has Anti-Executable as their product name. I am referring to using an Anti-Executable in general....in this case, I want to use EXE Radar Pro.

Yeah, development for 64-bit has been somewhat slow, but I also hear that it isn't easy porting to that environment.
