Just did a test incremental backup with True Image 8.0. The original backup file was named "Jul31.tib" The incremental is named "Jul32.tib"

Sure hope this isn't by design (and I might not have caught it if I hadn't remembered there's no July 32nd!) I want something like "Jul31x" where "x" is the increment number.

    Hello Bobat --

Now imagine you had your backup called 911.tib. So by your definition it is 91x.tib... and the incremental would be 912.tib.

If you want it the way you described you can name the backup July31_.tib, then there shall be no problems with the names of incrementals.

    Thank you.

    OK, Thanks Anton.

Now that I know the convention, I'll start naming the backups accordingly.
