Yes you can change back if you do not like it.

I say, be careful because "Beta" means that the software is still in the testing stage and *could* have bugs.

But the NOD32 beta seems to be going well so far - O yea you got Big Daddy HB to help :)

While you can install over it, I highly recommend unistalling the current NOD32 first, because it *could* cause incompatibilities.

Fircat, no offense, but if go on with scaring her to death by posting all the time "BE CAREFUL" you confuse her even more and you make daddy upset :-*

I think I will get the beta. But I just started learning this one. haha Is there much of a difference between the two?
Also, I read where Macros said spyware, adware, etc: is included in the search, did I read that rite?

    Muhahaha :D True, very true :D :D :D

    Come into daddy's arms

Well... it's recommended to uninstall previous versions, however normally there shoudn't be a problem with overinstalling it.

You should not have any problems. My experience with the 2.5 Beta has been excellent, and yes, I did install it over the previous version. I know that Eset calls 2.5 a Beta which it is, but it is so stable that it is better than a lot other of released software.

I do still run Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D every few days to clean out the rubbish that I pick up via the browser, but it is mostly only tracking cookies.

Ok, I have a question (suprised)
Do I need to set it the same as the other, in Blackspears thread?
Also, when I was installing it
it already had a username and password. I didn't have to use mine.o_Oo_O?

I would say yes definately, though some of the options/screenshots may not match up exactly. sure i read somewhere that Blackspear may change this when the full release of 2.5 is out.

the beta comes ready with a beta username and password that will last as long as the beta software does

    Indeed I will ;) :D

The previous UN and PW remain in the registry and in this case were picked up.

    Cheers :D

Ok, I did the best I could with the screenshots in your (Blackspear) thread.

I was just wondering why I needed my password for the other version, but not this one. It doesn't matter, I am just curious.
    Yes, I always have a trillion questions, don't I ? hehehehe

When you installed the Beta it found that you had a previous installation of Nod32 and used that previous installation UN and PW.

    Cheers :D
