    Yucchhh! :p

Only slightly off-topic, since the size and position of that one are constantly changing, about the only way you can close it is from the toolbar, right?

I've found that lately, if I close a second (or whatever) IE window from the toolbar rather than using the top-right "X", I very often get a window offering to add it to my favorites. Given the timing of when I first noticed it, I'm guessing it's one of the "improvements" included in SP2.

If that's correct, is there any way to disable it for good?

I'm using Firefox with Proxomitron and Kye-U's filters, so all I had to do was close the Window normally ;)

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

I also used Firefox on that site. I didn't try it it with IE.

I also use proxomitron but I have it set for minimal filtering. Some Flash pages I like to view, etc.

Size and position? I just saw a blank window flashing black and white.

    The flashing was annoying but...

Ok, might depend on your second-window settings (and whether they're remembered). In my case, that link opened in a new window about 1/4 size -- had standard min-max-close buttons, but they jumped because of resizing 3 or 4 times a second so were impossible (for me) to use.

Interestingly, I found that if I resized even slightly, the new size "locked" and I could use the buttons normally. But still got that add-to-favorites menu -- just dawned on me, maybe that's part of the "annoying site" thing?

Wasn't annoying to me [much, ROFL] .... it flashed, sized, and then gave some info to fill in.. I could still read all the crud it had. Using FF with multiple tabs on mine, simply closed the tab and all went back to normal..:)

I can only imagine how annoying/scary it would be it someone accidentally clicked on that link in IE :D

For sure!!! I am pretty much legally blind without my glasses but have one very good eye and one borderline legally blind with my glasses on..... After that I had to close my eyes for about 5 minutes and let everything settle back down!!!
