    How about your personal doctor?

Yep, I made an appointment with my "home-doctor" for next monday.

But those people in the Hospital there know me. I have been there tens and tens of times, had surgeries on my eyes...

If it's any consolation Jan, there's a few notes for relief here.
You probably know this, but watch yourself with aspirin, and some of the over the counter medications as thinning the blood may not help.

Hope you feel better :D , and ease up on that puter screen. Low light conditions and possibly some moisturizing drops may offer some additional relief...

What's worked for me in the past with eye pain is to brew 2-3 bags of Chamomile tea and form a warm compress.
This also works slightly diluted as an soothing eye rinse. The other benefit to this is a relaxing cup of tea. ;)

You can also make a small compress with some diluted witch hazel, a natural astringent used to relieve eye strain.
Take a short break with eyes closed, and the compress warm. Keep your eyes closed for this one.......

Rest those eyes Jan! Hope they feel better...

    Hi all,

Thanks for your warm words !!! :-*

Hey Blaze, buddy, you yourself have gone through many very sad eye problems.
I wished I had a Dr.Kramer here; it is so difficult here to make an appointment with an eye-doctor.
Maybe I should have indeed gone to the ER, maybe not; I don't know...
I'll wait now how it is tomorrow....

    Warm regards, Jan.

    Creature FanJ,
So sorry to here this. I have increasingly had very dry and burning eyes. Not a problem like yours however, but bad enough to be concerned about you. :(

Oops, I should listen more to the tips of TDS-3:

[Tip Of The Day] Rest your eyes often. (And don't underestimate the value of this tip!)
[TDS] Good morning Jan. I hope you're taking regular breaks for your eyes?

Fan J!!! I hope you went to the hospital, like everyone told you!!! They CANNOT just ignore you, do what Cochise said!!

Not to be an alarmist, but it may not be your EYE!!
Do you have high blood pressure?
Have you been having pain in or around your eye?
    Headaches?

Listen to your friends, it is a damn shame people have to stop and worry about insurance or something, when your health is soo precious!

That said, gather all the info here from your friends,
    1) don't strain your eyes, NO reading, NO computer, NO TV
    2) keep your head elevated when lying down, which you should be doing!
    3) if possible, put something covering you eye, that helps the most to keep from using it!
    4) Seriously, go to the hospital
    5) Thing calming thoughts, think healthy thoughts, coax your body to work WITH you.
    6) Listen to your friends!! :) Chamomile, meditation, all of that will help, you are the "control center" of your body, if you are worried that creates more tension,
    7) KNOW we all are sending you healing thoughts and prayers, ACCEPT them, they do no good if you don't

    Let us know!
    Be Healed!!

 Hi FanJ: I also have eye problems, and have had surgery, I am on Social Security Disability, better but not fully repairable. I don't know where you live, but I can tell you if it was me, I would be in the doctor who did my surgery office demanding that he/she see me NOW , it would get to the point where I would be so obnoxious, he/she would see me . This is an area where nice goes out the window and the bi&+h needs to appear. I hope you are covered by some sort of insurance, but if not, the hell with it, let them come after you, your eyes are more important. Let us know how this develops.

    The Best
