I can't get AMON to detect this lil thing, but the on-demand scanner detects it right away.. I've tried with the eicar.com file (which works) but not this one and a few others.

I can even rightclick on the file and see it's properties and NOD just ignores it..
Shouldn't it detect it regardless of it's extension (.com .exe .dll .ini etc.) and especially when I rightclick the thing?

I'll post a screenshot in a few minutes too ;)

Note that it's a GZ archive so apparently AMON could not detect it.

It was a file that IMON detected from a website, and as far as I know, IMON scans inside archives while AMON does not (and it shouldn't either).

I'm not really sure if it actually is a .com file since I just restored it from quarantine and let NOD choose the extension, so it could very well be an archive with the actual nasty inside.

    That's my guess anyway.

    Hi,

I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did you get your NOD32 skinned like that?

I use both WB skins and a patched uxtheme.dll but none of the themes seem to extend to the NOD32 UI.

Is there a patch or something I can apply?

    Thanks :)
