i noticed that with AMON enabled all the programs I open are very slow and sometimes it freezes my pc!! I tried to disable the AMON and my system worked fine again. I have P4 2GHz + 256 DDR

    Any solution?

Go to add/remove programs, f-prot, and click on remove. It will give you options. Remove the realtime scanner and see if NOD runs better.

Within a few hours, there will be a new beta version put on the Eset's website. Give it a try and see if the problem goes away.
