    Hi all,

We decided to disable the amon module on our exchange server and it suddenly blue screened on us, with the following message.

    amon.dll

    DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS

    -------------
There was more to the message but left this out.

Why would disabling the AMON module cause the Server Blue Screen?

    Thanks

Well, if you are fiddling about loading/unloading drivers on the fly you may easily end up with blue screens. If you want to disable AMON temporarily, just untick the appropriate checkbox. If you want to unload it completely, disable automatic AMON's startup and reboot the machine.
