   for the second time in a month i find that AMOD is not working. in the status screen it shows 0 scanned. i can open files all day long and it is not scanning them. any one know what gives here. this is serious and after 4 years using this program i amy have to give it the boot.

   I would try a reinstall over the top to eliminate any corrupted files that may or may not exist.
   
   Do you have any other security programs running and if so, which programs?
