alternatives to process guard?

    well, about my post further down on this page, i found that it was process guard that was preventing my screensaver and screensaver launcher from working correctly( yes all permissions were set right)

    maybe there is an alternative to process guard?

    As your post isn't a PG support question I moved it to the Other Security Issues Forum - The thread you are referring to above is this one.

    There are a few alternatives to PG ... AppDefend and SSM would be the other popular ones. ;)

    antihook is another alternative, tho i havent heard much about it lately.

    I am currenty using SSM with no problems. it is currently being updated every few weeks (also a 60 days trial).

    I have no issues with the others mentioned.
    You should download/test, to see which one works best for you and your system.

    i think i was wrong about process guard interfering with my screensaver, because its been uninstalled for a day now, and it seems that the problem is still occuring-unless it makes some kinda permanent changes- hm, i guess i was wrong
