I find archive dates such as arc_310813220444611 difficult to read and/or confusing. Is there a way to set a different date format, e.g. arc_YYYY-MM-DD

    denver49,

You can just over-type the archive name and type in whatever name you want.

... P.S. You can not specify an "automatic" different date format for paragon to use.

    1. This is the format that I use myself, for "manual" (non-scheduled) Backups:
    Backup_2013_0906_0430pm (i.e. yyyy_mmdd_hhmmxx (xx= am or pm)

... I specify time, in case I decide to later to a 2nd backup on the same day.

    2. For scheduled backups, I use the name "Backup" and the scheduled paragon script adds a date suffix of "_yyyy_mmdd" (effectively creating a backup archive name of "Backup_yyyy_mmdd".
