I'm trying to use Internet Connection Sharing to connect my slim ps2 online via my laptop with a crossover cable. I've read that I may have to enable ICS in the firewall settings or set a static IP address. I'm not a genius on these matters so if someone here is familiar with how to do this that would be great.

    Hi!
as far as I remember ICS only works on retail versions of ZA not the ZA free.

    Cheers,

    Hello,
It works in the free version as well. You just need to put the internal IP addresses into the trusted list.

Depending on the vers. post 5.x I think, there is a tab with a box to check mark that automatically allows ICS. Sorry, working from memory here. I use older vers. of ZA on a couple PCs. Guess it was around before ICS.
