    Worst Instant Messaging program

    Pros
: It does the basic functions of an instant messenger.

    Cons
    :
    1. All the other extra stuff that comes with the program is spyware.

    2. There is a constant ad on top of your buddy list

    3. Annoying with all the spyware stuff that you download with the program.

    4. Has little extra features that does not have spyware.

I do not consider having everyone using AIM a good thing. There are options out there that let you use AOL's service without using AIM. I suggest you try out trillian.

IMHO AIM is the worst instant messaging program I've ever encountered.
The company that created AIM are bad guys themselves, they even bundle spyware/ads together with AIM.
If you're using AIM, think again.

    Hi !
As nadirah suggested. "Trillian" is a good option. It's a multi-messenger that can communicate with all the other major IM-messengers.

P.S. Alot of people are having problems with AOL.
Stay away from them - if you can !
