Hello, I have recently updated from ESET 5.0.9 to 5.2.91 and after exporting my settings and uninstalling with Eset removal tool, I then reinstalled the new version and noticed that my internet connection was gone. I unchecked the EPFW NDIS filtering in each of my network adapters and My internet connection was back, now if I try to check the box again-no internet. If I leave the box unchecked doesnt that mean that Eset will not protect me from real-time malicious files if I click on them in browser. If not, I will leave it, but I know I used to have this checked in all my network adapters, now I cannot get it to function when I check this box in each of the network adapter properties!!!

Have you tried this? (sometimes it helps) : restore your ESS settings back to default state.

    Good luck.
