    hi everyone

I wanted to share this experience with you all
as you know I love Eset so so much and wanted to prove it's the best
so I thought I would test how powerful it is and show it to all others
I had a virtual machine to do the test and all what I need is viruses
    trojans , and worms

My aim was to run a lot of viruses without having the computer destroyed
anyway I collected viruses from here and there and from security forums
and from friends and I got 6887 dangerous virus , Trojan and worms
Eset detected more than 6700 virus some by just opening the folder ,
some by scanning , and some by running the virus itself :argh:

How ever after I ran all 6887 even the ones which were not detected
and my PC was 100% clean , safe and still working perfectly

But unfortunately one of my friends gave me a dangerous virus
and he said " this one is more dangerous than 3000 viruses "
so I tested that virus and booooooom my computer was destroyed
but don't worry I submitted that virus to Eset and now Eset detects it :D

I hope you liked this experience
and thanks Eset for your great program

    by the way
    I tested another 800 viruses
and Eset detected 752 and the rest was notharmful
when I opened them and my PC is working 100% :argh:

The question is if all the undetected files are actual threats and not non-functional files or prehistoric dos com viruses.

well as I said my aim was to have a running computer whether infected or not
I don't care and that's what I got after testing more than 7600 viruses

and yes most of them were prehistoric com viruses :D and did no harm to
    the computer

Then you should better use it for testing such viruses.

If not.. you are might responsible for undetected viruses or trojans when they are spread from your computer.

A offline virtual computer is a must... everything else.. is to risky.

You know Najem1992, if your going to play in traffic you should expect to get run over by cars. Virus testing is best left to experts.

Sounds more like a Fanboy TBH and young going by your 1st post (I am not insulting you but that's the way it comes across when I read your post when it was 1st here).

ESS is no where near the best, NOD32 long ago was supposed to be but not now.

I'm really happy for you but come back to reality m8. :)

Just proved your not mature enough to take constructive criticism.

I do not hate ESET but I do expect it to work 100% as I paid for it to do so not Beta Test it. :)

You cannot face reality it seems and you must be totally bored and have a lot of spare time on your hands to do the above. :isay:

I second that. As Larry52 suggested, this thread is not providing any usable discussion so we'll draw it to a close.
