Really surprised that Berlin is promoting Beijing in their own homeland.

EDIT: No. I am really surprised that Berlin is getting married with Beijing. I think I'll have to find a new home in Vienna now.

 

I wonder how this compares to Avira Free edition. (in terms of protection)

 

Nothing. Basically this Bee whatever is a tune-up utility with AV as an extra feature.

 

Oh, so no realtime protection.

 

It has real-time AV protection from what can be seen on the screenshot. I was saying that this thing doesn't offer anything really worthy to consider compared to Avira free in terms of malware protection. BeeMeh is a tune-up software with an AV as only a bonus that's what I wanted to say.

 

Cool GUI, but I can not lie, I really hate these kind of apps.

 

Great. I have test it and I like it alot. If you guys know of any other similar softwares (FREE) please let us know.

 

agree i hate the types of all in ones. and imo these speedup programs are junk anyway and sometimes do more harm then anything.

I installed BeeDoctor last night. The real time protection was not working. But according to this post from taleblou: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thre...-here-for-the-rest-of-us.368922/#post-2415031 the real time protection option is just the removable drive scan which automatically scans any USB drives when they are plugged in.

Due to the lack of actual on demand scanning, BeeDoctor does not cause any slowdowns when it's just sitting in the system tray.

When doing manual scans, you can choose what action to take for threats when the scan has completed, and there is the option to ignore idvidiual items found.
