Advanced Encryption Package 2006 Pro

I came across this program and did the trial and then purchased. This program is like a V-8 under the hood with a blower.

If anyone has the need for an Encryption Package check this out, it's excellent. It has 18 different algorithms, USB Flash Drive support, encrypts every kind of file on every kind of medium.

The application itself (Advanced Encryption Package 2006 Pro) is closed source. Many of us would never use encryption products that are not open source.

My choices:
TrueCrypt for OTF encryption with volumes and/or partitions.
AxCrypt for single-file encryption.

Closed source is fine for anything and everything but encryption products.

 

How come you wouldn't use a closed source? Now you have my curiousity, please explain.

I know about TrueCrypt and heard it is great, but I wasn't looking to encrypt my volumes/partitions.
