Adobe Shockwave Player 11.6.0.626 blocked by applocker

    I have just installed Adobe Shockwave Player 11.6.0.626 only to find it does not work for me. It downloads files to a folder under /users which are blocked by my applocker rules. The files have .x32 extension but look like EXEs or DLLs. I assume SRP will also block it.

    Problem solved. If you have to have shockwave player, download the full installer Shockwave_Installer_Full.exe and not Shockwave_Installer_Slim.exe. The parts loanloaded under \user are then installed properly in the windows system folder.
