I have read good thing about Admuncher http://www.admuncher.com/

Is it do u think the best pop up blocker?

As in other sites that i have visited talked about it as it is the best?

The thing is Admuncher doesn't have defenition updates to block spyware/adaware etc.. like SuperAdBlocker. The only problem is SuperAdBlocker is not free :D

Wat do u ppl think of AdMuncher?

Are the developers deticated to it? and does it get a lot of feedback from users and lots of support from users?

ive heard alot of good things about admuncher and the people who use it seem to reccomend it and havent heard anything bad about it.

I've used it for two years. It is superb, probably the definitive advert blocking software available. You can fine-tune it to your heart's content, blocking everything on a webpage, some of its content, or none of it. It is that good. I swear by it. You will probably get Proxomitron or host file fanboyz jumping in to endorse their favourites, but hopefully you at least give Ad muncher a try.

They say they will release 5.0 right? anyone has any idea when around?

It does though have definition updates to block popups and adverts etc. What it is supposed to do! It's brill. Use it, love it and wouldn't be without it.

You thought wrong, my friend. It is worth it, though. I believe it's a one time payment.

Hi, folks: After X days trial period, you may be able to keep it, although you can not update filter database any more. Its fee is one time/lifetime license. Ad Muncher and Super Ad Blocker are two of the best popup/ad blockers. If you wish you may use them together w/o any conflicts. You may want to check its compatiablity w/ internet blowsers. Good luck.

Hi, folks:According to their web site, a single release of v.5 was originally planned for very near future. Now they have changed mind, few perhaps many of so-called interim releases will replace a single huge upgrade on the way to version 5. By looking at their product development history: v.4.6 was released on Aug 26,2004, and then v.4.7 was upgraded on Oct.13,2006. There is a huge 2 years of human life in between. This will imply that their R&D work has been a bit cautiously and snail-pace-ly. Even you have to fork $$$ to register for full version, its value surely will last a long long way. :)

I've been using AdMuncher for six years, and IMNSHO this is the very best program of its kind. One only has to give it a good workout to be convinced.

Is AdMuncher along the line of MVPS hosts? I like MVPS hosts except for the "somewhat" annoying inability at time to go to the previous page without a couple clicks. Still it seems to do a pretty good job and hard to complain for a freebee like it.

Ad Muncher works as a proxy and its lists are more flexible than a HOSTS file.
