    Hi,

i've got a HP dc7800p id like to be able to build from an FTP server but when i create a bootable media to use with Acronis, the media doesn't appear to have the correct NIC drivers loaded...

Is there any way to add additional NIC drivers to the bootable media?

    Best Regards

    Dave

End users cannot add drivers to the TI Recovery media. However, Acronis tech suport may be able to supply you with an iso image of the recovery media with the correct drivers.

Alternatively, you could build a BartPE or VistaPE boot disk and add the drivers to that.

How do I go about creating a bartpe disk or vistape disk?

Is it like a bootable disk with acronis installed?

    Regards

There are lots of leads and instructions on this forum on how to do this. Check messages from GroverH and Mustang with links in their messages.

My first choice would be a VistaPE disk since it is a newer operating system with more drivers for new hardware, and some people say it's easier to create a VistaPE disk - especially using Mustang's plugins.
