Running Vista with Truecrypt whole disk encryption. If I partition my drive and install Win 7 so I can dual-boot, will that mess up the TC bootloader?

Do you plan to re-partition an existing, fully encrypted disk/partition or a separate device? What will it do, well, I have no idea and it sounds like a big, big mess. I urge you to backup your data completely before trying this.

Mrk, I was thinking of partitioning an existing, encrypted drive and installing the OS on the new partition. I don't think I'm going to toy with it. I'm not finding positive support for Win 7 from Truecrypt, so maybe I'll wait until a future version comes out that fully supports Win 7.

I do have a spare laptop I may try it on..just to experiment for fun.

    Thanks for the reply!
