    Yeah, I actually prefer AdThwart, but as you say; not quite ready.

    LOL! Yeah, to be fair to the bloke though, he has given up his day-job to do this full time. I wonder how long his adblocker stays as the top extension when ABP is released? ;)

    The AdThwart guy's going to collaborate with Palant and his code will provide the starting point, as I understand it.

    That is my understanding also. Adthwart, if installed, will automatically upgrade to adblock plus when it is released.

    They were also quite excited when the Chrome Web Store went "pay". There were quite a few clarifications requested by the the gentleman on the issue.

    This has been Palant's stated objective for sometime:
    While controlling ads are a part of that, he could also consider the overall page appearance from an accessibility point of view and see if he can help out there (despite the best efforts of web designers to make their sites "different" or unique or whatever their fevered minds come up with.)

    I think I'll ask this at his forum or blog. (I've not had too much success asking elsewhere.):D
