For all users of the firefox extension adblock plus, if you're noticing that adblock plus is blocking all media on all websites, it could be due to this bug:
    http://bugzilla.mozdev.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16108

I'm using ABP 0.7.2.3 on FF 2.0.0.1 here and discovered this strange behavior starting from 29-12-06 where all media like graphics and a few other things were being blocked by Adblock Plus and this affected all websites.

A workaround I have tested out is to disable Adblock Plus on the pages that you want to view. 'Disable ABP on www.starhub.com' for example. Don't disable adblock plus completely unless you want to see the annoying advertisements appearing. Having a good HOSTS file helps in this situation too.

Do you recommend I uninstall and reinstall ABP? I'm wondering if it may solve the problem.

    You gotta be kidding, right?
