Hi, I use NoScript in Firefox and absolutely love it. Is there any add-on for Firefox which can allow me control and block images in webpages as I can control and block Javascripts with NoScript?
Adblock Plus. You can add filter packages that'll block a lot of stuff automatically, or you can custom block images from the context menu. I also use Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus. It makes it possible to custom block other annoyances. I think it comes with the EasyList filter package. Once you install Adblock with EasyList you should see a dramatic reduction in advertising images. In the Filter Subscriptions tab, uncheck "Allow some non-intrusive advertising" if you want it to be more aggressive.
