Ad Aware 6 entry

    Hi There

    I was wondering if some one could help.

    My scan picked up this entry in the registery Ive got it quaratined.Does it need to be fixed?

    That depends. There are certain programs such as Adaware, Spybot, SpywareBlaster that have that feature....whereby the user can select to disable the ability for a local user of a PC to change the Home page. Do you use any program such as those mentioned above and have you or someone with access to that PC....selected that feature ?

    In any case....it's harmless....even if you do let the program you used to scan....fix that item. It simply will now let anyone with Local access to the PC change the Home Page.

    Hello jrcotts, I have it, I just keep it on "ignore" with Ad-aware. :)

    Yes I do have all these and I may have selected that option.So i won't worry about it than huh? should I just let it be than?
