I installed Active@ Disk Image on my Win 8 Pro 64 bit. I have the newer UEFI and GPT boot. I did a full backup and at the end it completed with the following warning. Does this mean anything as far as the image wouldn't work if I tried to restore it? Thanks.

    GetVolumeNameForVolumeMountPoint(1) for "\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolume2\" failed. Error = 1 (<Unknown error code>).

Did you use version 5.4.2? It is spec'd for Windows 8. Any version before probably wasn't.

never seen that error message before with regards to ADI.

try again but right click and run it as administrator.

if that does not work then i would try the latest version as HAN suggested if you dont already have it.
