01.) How to change screen reolution when using Acronis Rescue CD (using Acronis True Image 8.0 [ build 796 ] ) full version.

02.) When I boot using Acronis Rescue CD (using Acronis True Image 8.0 [ build 796 ] ) full version I don't get the GUI, instead I get this...

Waiting for enter to start '/bin/sh' (pid53, terminal dev/tty1)

Please press Enter to activate this console.

    After pressing Enter

    BusyBox v0.60.5 (2005.02.02-17:59+0000) Built-in shell (lash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
    #

When I boot through it, and after removing the word quiet after a few lines of code I get this,

    Checking for Graphic mode...
    Frame buffer mode Initializaion failed.

Waiting for enter to start '/bin/sh' (pid53, terminal dev/tty1)

Please press Enter to activate this console.

    After pressing Enter

    BusyBox v0.60.5 (2005.02.02-17:59+0000) Built-in shell (lash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
    #

Now here at the # prompt if I type Aconis I get this message..

    $ /bin/mount -t proc proc /proc
    Mounting /proc on /proc failed
    :Unknown error 16
    Mount /proc failed

I think my error is due to the screen resolution only as I have faced problems while installing Linux on my computer.

    Hello indianboy,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

First of all, please download the latest (800) build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

After that please create new Acronis Bootable CD with this latest build and if the problem persists please try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround (please see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 for the details). In case it doesn't help pease create the sysinfo.txt file as described in the link mentioned above and send it to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread.

    Thank you.
