I am thinking about purchasing TI 9.0 and would like to know if when cloning one drive to another, will it write the MBR over to the new drive exactly like the source drive's MBR?

    Hello jackfish,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

During the cloning process all the contents of your old disk would be copied to the new one. You get the exact copy of your old disk including MBR record and all applications and OS's installed.

I recommend you to download and install the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 to see how the software works on your computer.

We are always at your service should you have any further questions.

    Thank you.
