    Hello,

I'm using Acronis TI 2009, build 9633 (Dutch version) on a Mobo Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6, CPU Intel Q9550, mem 4 Gb. The system (including DVD's) are running on a SATA-controller in AHCI-mode (Intel ICH10R).

When using the recovery-cd, Acronis won't start. It hangs on the starup-screen (Starting the Acronis Loader). The Acronis Recovery console wan't start either, it hangs after restart on the same point. I suppose there is a problem with the drivers for the SATA-controler. That means that I can't resore my system-files. Is there anybody who can help?

    Thanks

I even don't get that far, the system hangs before the loader starts to boot. I have the message "Starting Acronis Loader", and that's all.

Then you most likely need to contact Acronis Support and get them to give you the "alternate loader" version. Live Chat is probably the quickest way.

Could the original poster of this thread explain what the fix was for his problem? I'm experiencing the same thing. Acornis loader fails, all I get is a black screen. The last thing I see is "Starting Acronis loader"
    thx
