Acronis Germany bankrupt ?

Hi,

well i have some trouble to install the Backup Server for my 10-licence TI 9.1 WS to a W2000 Pro PC. It "worked" more or less until build #3694, but the upgrade to build #3832 failed for the part "Backup Server".

The installer starts to install and after a while it says (analogous) "Backup server can not be installed, restart and try again". After restarting and trying again to install the crap i still get the same question. The rest works ok.

I tried to contact Acronis Germany for help in this case two times, but they are simply ignoring my requests. I am really not paying a 0900 phone hotline for a deficient product. I even did not get a ticket or responst at all after submitting the support case at their website. Nothing, nada.

So, is the german office bankrupt or in holidays ? Or has Acronis simply closed their german support office ? Very unprofessional behaviour IMHO.

Perhaps you should try build 3854 or go back to 3694 if that also fails

Acronis HQ in Germany moved to another Office in Munich. Maybe there are not operational to 100% till now..... I'm waiting for the new release (should have been released two weeks ago)....
