The file SnapAPI_s_e.exe contains the Acronis Driver package.

Q1. Are these Linux drivers, Windows drivers, both?

Q2. If the package includes Windows drivers, which drivers exactly are included and what changes can a user expect these to make to the system?

Q3. Why does Acronis Support advise that the drivers should be installed with "disabled logging"?

    Hello Tabvla,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please note that the SnapAPI module is in charge of all I/O operations on the hard disk of Acronis software working in Windows. SnapAPI.exe file updates the SnapApi module.

The option "Enable logging" is used in order to create "snapapi.log" files which helps us to investigate the issues with Acronis software.

    Thank you.
