Acronis Disk Director dynamic disk problem

Hi

Just installed the server version 10 to increase size of my C: drive and it falls over saying windows dynamic disks are unsupported. I understood V9 had issues but was under the illusion V10 was OK. Can anyone verify this.

 

In just looking around the Acronis site and searching the forum, it seems that DD Server 10 still doesn't support Dynamic Disks.

You might want to send a Support Request to Acronis or send them a PM and see what they say.

Like you... I have a (1.3Tb Raid5) Dynamic Disk on an SBS2k3 box and would like to be able to access it. (I actually formatted and reinstalled SBS2k3 on the scsi drives, and since the rebuild, Windows Disk Manager sees the 1.3Tb setup, but I can't get access to it because it was changed to Dynamic during the reinstall I gather)

I was hoping that Disk Director 10.0 would give me a workaround for the problem without losing any data on the 1.3Tb drive.
