Acronis Director Suite

    on my HP laptop ADS 10 i tried to resize the c: (windows vista business partition), but ADS cannot resize it. Then it shows the partition as completely full. Although, there is a lot of free space.

    what is the problem?

    Are you trying to resize the Vista partition while running DD in Vista or by booting from the DD CD?

    Have you tried to shrink the partition using Vista's Disk Management?

    i used the Acronis Recovery CD.

    I tried to shirink the partition with the MS tools and it did not work either.

    Could you post screenshots of what Vista's Disk Management and DD show for your hard drive?

    Also one where DD shows the partition as completely full?
