I've tried to recover a ML110 Server (HP Compaq) with a S-ATA RAID controller (Promise SX4). But Acronis only recognizes the physikal Disks but not the RAID i have configured.

I get the backup to a single disk and can boot from it (when the RAID is a JBOD on a single disk), but that's not what i want of my backup solution. Is there a solution for the problem? Or is it impossible?

    thx alot

We had a simular issue with a promise controller. Ours would restore but when you rebooted it would do nothing but blue screen.

We restored the image to a single drive then threw in the second and rebuilt the array and everything was ok. Granted ours was IDE raid and not sata. We have encountered a lot of issues with SATA and Acronis.

    Good Luck.
