Acronis 8.0 image hang-up

I've made an image of my hard drive and tried reinstalling to another drive using the appropriate steps. The only problem is that when I boot up to the new drive, it hangs-up at the light blue background (with Windows XP) just before bringing up the user names and stops. Anyone have some advice on what is causing this and is there a way of fixing it?

 

Problem has been resolved. Primarily, the master drive had two partitions and the second was not being copied, because it was unallocated. After allocating the empty space and creating another partition, the image was created successfully and restored on the second drive without any problem. It also appears the operating system was loaded on the smaller of the two partitions, therefore, creating the hang-up.
