    To those with Ace Utilities,

    Under the startup manager,

Do you think it's ok to disable/remove entries under the explorer category? Entries like outlook, messenger 4.7, channel tv, scanners, etc that I never use.

Also what is the Image Hijacks category about??

as long as youre sure u dont need them, then it should be ok to disable them.
im not sure but for me it lists Process Explorer. maybe its because i set to replace Task Manager?

For those who don't already know about it -- FileForum (FF) lists a very high percentage of the most-often-used applications, and FF carefully tracks updates to each application on its list.

FF's list is maintained up-to-date by proponents of software (in some cases) as well as by user-advocates of various applications who *help out*. Those proponents & user-advocates post current information and detailed descriptions of (a) what an application does, (b) details of what is included in the latest change to that app, (c) and (usually) a screenshot.

If you sign up with FF you will then be able to click on the "Add to Watch List" button for any & all applications that interest you. Once you do so, FileForum will thereafter send you an e-mail notice whenever any application on your watch list gets changed. Verrrry handy!

For example, the Ace Utilities application is covered at THIS link.

FileForum also lets you enter a review of any given application. Those reviews are NOT well monitored, but what you say will potentially affect LOTS of people -- FileForum has a huge following.

I don't read any improvements regarding selection methods for "exclusions" and "undo exclusions" of registries. That's a pity. :(
