I am trying to recover an image saved on my home network. I have had to replace my primary disk so I have to recover it using the Acronis utility. The wizard only shows local drives, though there is some kind of network adapter configurator under options.

There doesn't seem to be any help as how to use this but clearly there has to be some way to access the saved image. I've tried putting in the IP address of my other networked PC, but still no sign of the drive. (though I'm just using peer to peer).

How can I get the application to see the drive? I am still with version 7 (Build 63:cool:.

Did you ever test the Version 7 recovery CD to see if you could see the shared folders on network drives? If not, then it sounds like the drivers for your system's network adapter are not in Version 7.

You can download the trial version 8 and see if that can see the networked drives. If so, upgrade and restore the image.
