After recovering the partition on what used to be my C: drive, I installed it as a slave drive. When I try to access my documents folder, I receive 'Access Denied'. I can access all other directories including those of other users. I was the administrator when it was my C: drive and I am the administrator now.

I tried to access it from the Command Prompt with the same results, Access Denied.

    Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Since you moved the location of your Windows system partition, the former security IDs (SIDs) on it are invalid. To gain access to your documents you need to take ownership of the documents folder.
