About that Spybot update Nick?

    Thanks for that info Nick. I manually DL'd the update and installed and rebooted too......but screenie below shows updates are still from 19 March??
    Any ideas??

    That is correct. You have the current definitions installed.

    Correct. However, the about conext within S&D does not always display the current definition updates. The best way to verify that you have the updates installed is to navigate to "..Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Includes.." as gerardwill posted.

    That is one of the drawbacks of a manual download....because Spybot's download.ini file does not get properly updated as far as the ReleaseDate entry.

    UpdateDate=2004-03-04
    InstallDate=2005-03-22
    ReleaseDate=2005-03-20

    So... POOF! -- with Notepad I change the ReleaseDate manually to 2005-04-07. Is muy okay, no? (Actually I use Metapad instead of Notepad.)
