ABEL loader. What is this?

ABEL loader starts then Windows start up. I find out, that it is integrated to RegDefend. Does anybody know, what this ABEL loader is need to?

 

It is not in any way part of or even remotely related to a legitimate version of RegDefend. I found another thread at this forum from someone else with the same question:

I totally agree with Tony. From what little I could find out about this and if you are sure it is related to RegDefend, then it sounds very much like the copy of RD that you are running is a cracked, non-legitimate version of the software.

You could always send Jason the install package that you used and see what he has to say.

Another useful thing (for yourself) that you could try is uploading it to one of the online AV scanners and see if they report anything untoward. Virus Total is a good one http://www.virustotal.com/flash/virustotal_en.html

If you have a cracked version of it (however you came by it) you never know what passengers came along for the ride...

Oh well for clarity none of the above answear are completely rigth.
ABEL loader is a "loader" (duh!)

Instead of letting windows load a program normally, it load the process into memory but let change some part of the program. This change in the program can do various things. Increased functionality or less legal things such as disabling trial limitation. But abel loader by itself isn't really anything neer a crack. more of a tool.
