Okay, I've got this new installation of TI 8.0.

My imaging destination drive is an EIDE HDD external drive on the USB bus via a bridge. If TI is loaded from the desktop there is no problem seeing this drive as just another available HDD. And TI can use it successfully.

If I boot from the TI burned CD, TI sees this drive as an external removeable drive and assigns it the letter B: It even asks user to insert the first disk. At which point if I hit Enter, TI will write the image.

And when one then goes to check or explore the image written to the "B: Drive" one gets the error message THE SELECTED FILE IS NOT AN ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE FILE. But it will still check it or explore it.

Seems to me TI is mis-assigning a floppy drive letter to a non-floppy HDD.
