    Hi, folks:

    Some members/readers of this forum may have enjoyed the generosity of EMSI's free one-year offer. I am one of them. But

    Running A-squares AM and Manutu together makes me feel a bit uneasy. Is there any overlap at all ? My observation tells me that Manutu is part of A-squared AM, and perhaps A-squared Free is the remainder of AM.

    Can anyone confirm that ? Thanks.

    Hi,

    a² AM Realtime scanner = signatures + malware-IDS (ie Mamutu)
    a² free has no realtime scanner

    Regards,

    AFAIK, the IDS in A-Squared RT doesn't have the community protection feature of Mamutu.

    a-squared Free = disk scanner only
    Mamutu = Malware-IDS only
    a-squared Anti-Malware = disk scanner + Malware-IDS + onExecution scan guard + cookie guard + HiJackFree

    Mamutu is the latest development, that's why it is some steps newer than Anti-Malware. But all the new features will be integrated in Anti-Malware as well. E.g. the current Anti-Malware 3.5 Beta version includes the community feature and other improvements that have been introduced by Mamutu 1.5.

    During the next 1-2 weeks as it behaves already very stable during our beta tests.

    Hi,

    It is the perfect time to pick up some speed and steam---rolling out new and exciting stuff, while some others are still in Winter hibernation. :)

    Looking forward to new version !
