A-Squared Free v 4.5 new - run on win 98se?

    Hi,

    While running an XP SP 3 laptop with a-squared free installed, received notice of the new version - while acquiring the download, I noticed under 'operating systems' Windows 98 was included in the list. Some months ago, I removed an older version from a laptop running windows 98se because I thought it was no longer supported.

    Can someone clarify this for meo_O?

    I find a-squared an excellent on demand scanner, with less false positives that Spyware Doc.

    Their CNET download page clearly lists support for both 95/98.
