So quite often a-sq alerts that it has blocked a tracking cookie, which in fact I have no problem with. What I was wondering though is since I have "Accept third-party cookies" disabled in Ff (i.e. are they site or 3-p cookies?) and to "Keep (only) until I close Ff" and I'm also sandboxed, is this even necessary? Thank You!

I don't see any harm in keeping it on, as it will apply to your other browsers besides firefox. When I used it last, there was a way to still block these advertising/tracking cookies for example, and keep the alerts silent in the background. It's somewhere in the GUI.
