Is this a good anti-trojan program, or is it too new for comment?

Thanks for the thread. I didn't understand all that I read, but it was good information.

I am not sure if I should install it at this time. I am not very competent with this type of stuff. Of course I know I can get any help I need here.

A²Free Final release is available at the A² download page.

Very easy to use scanner. I would recommend you give it a try.

But until now don't use it as a primary scanner. There are 2 main reasons:

1. Only the weak fingerprints are implemented as signatures at the moment. It will cost time to build up the strong signatures .
2. Several malware types like worms or older trojans aren't implemented yet.

There will be a big "Hello here I am" as soon as all signatures are implemented ... so don't worry you could miss the point of time .

 

I downloaded it and scanned my computer this PM. I encountered no problems or conflictsl. The scan showed no malware.
