    It deserves every bit of the accolade, they are efficient, have fast response to security issues, don't jump the gun and go for latest to sacrifice stability and is the easiest distro to install. If anyone deserves the award for making Linux popular with ex Windows users and rest of the PC world, its Ubuntu. More power to them.

    Yep, I have made the move here myself just now after sampling literally dozens of distros over the past 2 years.. It certainly strikes me as the best of them all, and they deserve high praise for it. Ubuntu is issue-free for me. Nice article.... :thumb:

    No question this forum and many like it have fan base. Throw in Deb's pkg manager and good user support, an intelligent choice.
