USA still the best. But barely.
It's good to see EaseUS getting some props. I can't stop using from way back when Todo Backup Advanced Server 4.5 everything else fails, pales or is too complicated.

I agree. I didn't start using it until I joined the Windows 7 gang. Started with V6 and now, as of this morning, I'm at 8.2.

If you've tried Aomei, how would you compare it to EaseUs? Where is EasUs home based. Aomei is based in China.

For me it doesn't matter where they are located. I have Aomei and it images and restores fine. I've also tried EaseUs and for some reason on my system I end up with a non bootable system.

I installed Aomei last week and find it's really easy to use, and does a nice job. I wish the GUI was larger though, as my old eyes find the small font hard to read unless I lean forward.

I would be happy with either BUT I cannot use them together which I did use before because they now affect each other.

Yes, they are both from China.

I've been reading thru this thread; haven't seen any commentary on Dayu DiskMaster. Has anyone used/trail-ed it and care to share their thoughts?

Thanks guys, I had downloaded Dayu thru a giveaway from windowsdeal.com. I ran a disk backup of the XP desktop on my network to a usb external drive, but after 2 hrs it seemed to stall at 99% with zero time remaining. After staying like that for more than an hour, I finally clicked Cancel. I already have Aomei 2.2 Pro which I am quite happy with but just wanted to see if Dayu would backup faster.

Its GUI looks like a clone/oem version of EaseUS Todo Backup
    Anyone has this feeling?:D

Not really. DAYU Disk Master looks primitive. EaseUS looks basic.

Have you updated it? Now it is in version 2.8
I actually like it better than all those fancy interfaces of the other imaging apps; lean and mean

Regarding Easeus, it worked fine until v6.5 on my Lenovo G505 but since V8 it's so sllloooooow, more than 12h to perform a backup, even with no compression. Anyone noticed this on their PC ? Thanks.

I trial-ed EaseUS 8.2. Attempted to do a disk backup to a USB external hard drive. Between EaseUS "verifying" each step to the destination and "loading" it was a 1/2 hour just get to where I can execute the backup. I didn't keep it.

Yep, my external drives are either USB 3.0 or eSATA. Both are very fast.

    Try Thunderbolt. :argh:

Or just something like AX64 Time Machine.
